Free agent Jimmy Garoffolo could be on the move by the end of the day.
That’s according to several industry insiders, who believe Garoppollo is the most valuable free agent in the league.
According to multiple sources, Garoppoli has been in talks with several teams to join the Browns as a free agent.
However, the team is holding onto its No. 3 overall pick for now.
The Browns have been rumored to be interested in Garoffoli for a while, as he has been working out for the team since March.
However it appears the Browns may not be interested.
According a report by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Browns have a deal with free agent QB Kirk Cousins, who was the top pick in the 2018 draft.
While the deal has been on hold, sources told Rapoports that Garoffolos agent, Curtis Robinson, is working out with the team.
Sources said that Robinson and Garoffols agent, Craig Schaffer, are working out together on a free agency deal.
It’s unknown whether or not Schaffer is involved in the Garoppols negotiations.
The NFL is in the middle of a bidding war for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
There is also a potential cap spike for teams after the cap increases in 2021 and 2022.
Free agents are expected to sign new contracts during the free agency period.
